You reminded me of this one, Rachel (Darkland Poetry)…
I sung it some time back. ..

Lyrics:
Prologue (Intro)
When I stand in the rains the tears that I weep become invisible for your eye ,
but the river is growing none the less… my pain may never end
have mercy, o Great Mother,
send the winds…
Winds of the North carry me on your shoulders high above the highest of the clouds.
Will you?
To the place take me where the Sun spins its gold into the saree of the world
Take me up…
Winds of the North carry me on your shoulders high above the highest of the clouds.
Will you?
To the place take me where the sun spins its gold into the saree of the world
I wish to float forever, under a stardust Sky, where the blood red saree will not hurt my saddened eyes
Take me oh mighty wind, find a place that stills my mind and my heart will find finally ist safe hiding place.
Winds of the North carry me on your shoulders high above the highest of the clouds.
Will you?
To the place take me where the sun spins its gold into the saree of the world
Take me up…
You take me down to the river and I feel its rush towards me.
Seems like its salty warm waters need to feel my reddened skin .
Many of my tears have given over the years rise to its ripples.
Never once did the river chase me away but listened to my need
Winds of the North carry me on your shoulders high above the highest of the clouds.
Will you?
To the place take me where the sun spins its gold into the saree of the world
Take me up…
Even when I cussed with fury after some mad senseless killing,
it was the river who cleansed me, and my mind’s dripping wounds,
and my soft shattered heart she replaced with stronger parts
Now I am back, she has grown old her waters drying and dying.
I don’t have no more tears, after I have wept for so many years, over the bloodshed of the world..
Of the world, of the world…
Winds of the North carry me on your shoulders high above the highest of the clouds.
Will you?
to the place take me where the Sun spins its gold into the saree of the world
Take me up…
