Melpomene

In a Greek Tragedy the end is a sad one. In my video I see the Muses as Goddesses. Melpomene started our tragedy, the world’s tragedy. Why can  she not put  her mask down, which frightens all, and let Thalia, her sister, not end the Play, wearing the mask of Comedy?

While working at this Video I met your site, Aquileana. Thanks.

Lyrics and melody by AnandRahasya

Here are the lyrics:

Melpomene

Melpomene sing your song, don’t you see how things go wrong

You see the trouble we are in, waive your claims and let this

tragedy now end

Melpomene sing your song, don’t you see how things go wrong

You see the trouble we are in, waive your claim and let this

tragedy now end

Melpomene sing your song

You rest in your comfy sheets, while in our dark streets disaster breeds

In a deadly dance, harsh rain scares our hearts.

You rest in your comfy sheets, while in our dark streets disaster breeds

In a deadly dance, harsh rain scares our hearts.

Morpheus shall offer you his arms distract you with his charms

That you forget to love the tears that fall from your divine eyes

Melpomene sing your song, don’t you see how things go wrong

You see the trouble we are in, waive your claims and let this

tragedy now end

Melpomene sing your song

Your eyes in boredom are closed, yet your mind sad things you shows

You see the drama of this place, a space missing love and peace

Your eyes in boredom are closed, yet your mind sad things you shows

You see the drama of this place, a space missing love and peace

Open your eyes to stop the play, don’t you hear the chorus

telling you the tragic of this wicked story

Melpomene sing your song, don’t you see how things go wrong

You see the trouble we are in, waive your claim and let this

tragedy now end

Melpomene sing your song

You heave a sigh and warp the time, weigh if to change the play

And in the nothingness of space into your mirror you gaze

You heave a sigh and warp the time, weigh if to change the play

And in the nothingness of space into your mirror you gaze

You see the beauty of your face and know that for the play

You have to lift the black mask of tragedy to finish the game

Melpomene change this song, don’t you see how things go wrong

You see the trouble we are in, may Thalia finish the play

Let your sister do this job…
